This is your Dawning! Emerging in the Power of God

THE POWER OF PEACE
We can’t escape the concerns of this world, but we can experience the peace of God in the midst of our troubles because we are in the world but not of it.

Isaiah 26:3 is a wonderful promise for us to claim:  “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Peace is a choice – We can choose to trust God or not.  I can truly say, without the mercy, help and wisdom of my Lord, I would not be able to make it.

My advice to all of you is, don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done, and you will experience His peace.  God must be the center piece in our home and Church.

Matthew 7:24-25 tells us of a wise builder who built his house upon a rock, and the rains descended, the floods came, the winds blew and beat upon the house and it fell not because it was founded upon a rock.  The rock is Jesus and the foundation is the cross.  The rains, floods and winds are the temptations and the ills of human experiences.  But the power of peace will keep us in tact and sustain us.

Philippians 4:7 says the peace of God that passes all understanding shall keep our hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.  Let not your heart be troubled.  We can’t describe the peace of God but we certainly can experience it.  We can’t explain it because it’s supernatural.
When it comes to confessing sin, the peace of God is peace of conscience through forgiveness.  If your conscience is clear, there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1).

Guilt can never know peace.  Some of you are holding on to something you have done.  God has forgiven you, but you haven’t forgiven yourself, accept the forgiveness of God and move on and embrace the peace given you.
There are people in the body of Christ who are professional liars, they will never experience the peace of God until they repent, and if they don’t repent the lake of fire will be their home for all eternity.

Romans 5:1 says we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God.  This means we have been reconciled to Him through the cross.  There’s no more hostility, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation.  Why? Because peace is a heavenly word mediated to us by the Holy Spirit.  Peace eliminates confusion.

When we come together to hear the Word of God we are coming to hear the Gospel of Peace.

John 14:27 lets us know, God promised us peace.  “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:  not as the world giveth, give I unto you.”   Worldly peace is surface, it comes and goes.  The peace of the Lord is of the heart that releases us from being troubled.  Peace is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22).

Many times we allow anger to infiltrate our lives.  Temper flares up and abounds over peace, because we are not walking in the Spirit.  We are supposed to get angry at the devil and our own disobedience, but not one another.

Hebrew 12:14 says,”Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”   It’s a Holy thing to get along with people.

Colossians 3:15 says let the peace of God rule in our hearts, let it have first place.  Where peace is, chaos has to go because it’s a sanctified peace.  We are one body, the righteous of God because our unrighteousness has been covered by His righteousness.

God Bless You!
