| Youth Understanding Purpose |
In most Churches, the youth population remain very stagnant. They sit in the back, fall asleep in Church and don't really get a true understanding of the Word. Their leaders do not keep them motivated and active in God, so most children when they become of age have the urge to leave from under the blood covering of the Lord and try and experience the world on their own. In Dawning of a New Day Ministry the youth play a very active role. Our Youth Pastor Cheryl, keeps us together and makes sure that we always have something to do. She tells us the Word, like it is and although it is hard to take, we know it is all said out of Love.
The life of a young person living in the 21st century is not an easy one. We are placed under large amounts of stress constantly and we need God as a resting place, a place where we can come and seek help. In Dawning of a New Day we are taught how to read and understand the Word, pray, reach out to God and to others, and really study the Word of God.
The youth of Dawning of a New Day have many wonderful talents that are utilized in the Ministy of God. We are losing a lot of our young people now adays and I know from personal experience, that when young people are kept from contributing to the Ministy they "fall by the way side". They lose interest and lose faith, and they feel unwanted, but in Dawning of a New Day no youth is left behind. We have our lovely Praise Dancers, our very talented singers and actors, and many more talents, and each and every one is made to be put forth very often. We are shown love each and every time we enter the Church, but when we stray we also get rebuked, all out of the Love of God.
